Back from Christmas

After a weeks rest over christmas it's back on the training. Trained my Push muscles yesterday! Started with bench press 5x5, doing this to get my strength up doing big power moves! Then moved onto incline press 3 sets of 12 getting heavier. Then did some rope push ups with my feet elevated. Straight onto flat flyes after worked to 30kgs for 8 reps. After a few mins rest went straight into shoulder press 3 sets 12, 10 8 reps. Push muscles were getting sore now and felt a bit tired. Straight onto 2 sets of lat raises with strict slow form. Moved onto triceps doing 3 sets of tricep pushdown to get some blood into them and get pumped, asif i wasn't pumped up already! Then moved onto lying tricep extensions. TOTALLY FUCKED AFTER ALL THIS! I wasn't tired, just extremely pumped.

Finished up with some posing practise to pump up my muscles and practise holding my poses. Looking pretty big at the moment. Gonna try cutting for 6 weeks before my next comp as I lost alot of weight for my last comp with cutting for 9 weeks. I'm always ripped 365 days of the year so i don't have much fat to lose which is good. Push muscles tomorrow!

Pull Day

Today I trained my pull muscles! I did trap bar deadlifts 4 x 5 reps, then straight after did 7 sets of pull ups with 3 different grips. did weighted pull ups till fail on all but the last 2 sets which i did without weight till fail. Hung a 20kg from my waist for the rest. I did wide arm first, then palms facing then standard chin ups for the last 2 sets. Felt stupidly pumped by then! Between each set I put the timer on for a minute so I didnt have a long rest in between, was such a killer. After the pull ups I moved onto one arm seated cable row, I did 3 sets of them racking the weight up each set. SQUEEZING AND STRETCHING which made me pump up like crazy. I then moved onto a drop set of shrugs starting at 120kg all the way down to 70kg! Then I moved onto biceps which I did 1 warm up set of barebell curls and 2 working sets of 8-10 reps. Finishing off I did 3 sets of concentration curls but these were murder to get through. I did 12 reps one one arm dropped it 12 on the other, dropped it 10 reps one arm, same on other, then 8 reps and then I was done. Did it in 50 mins, simple and hard. Legs on friday weheyyyyy

Push Day

Today I trained my push muscles. I did Barbell Bench Press, Incline bench press, Shoulder Press, Side Laterals, Bent over laterals, Tricep Extension superset with dips, and then finished off with some tricep pushdowns. Felt pumped today as my triceps just swell up everytime I work out. I tried to keep the weight on my bench press within reason today as I've got a shitty cold and I don't want to get injured.
Finished off with a bit of grip training for my forearms which was 4 exercises one after the other: wrist curls, reverse curls, hanging from a rope and then pinch gripping some weight plates for as long as I could. I did this 3 times round and couldn't even hold onto my steering wheel properly on the way home. Got a feeling I'm going to ache tomorrow! I'm doing a 12 week build up of weight on my bench press so I thought this week i'll ease into it with 100kg, gonna add some more weight next week!

Bulking



This is me a quarter of the way through my bulking season. I'm around 12.5 stone and I'm one of the lucky bastards which keep my abs all year round! I'll post a pic of me at the end of my bulk in around may time to show you my gains. And no.... I don't use pre workout supplements or any kind of illegal steroids! It's just pure clean eating and hard hard training.

I've started this to inspire people to get into the gym and just to keep track myself on how I am progressing in the gym.
